Sofia Vergara’s remembers her first scent as a baby & ALL Latinas can relate

I love Sofia Vergara's honesty and how relatable she can be at times. The Modern Family actress recently spoke to InStyle about her latest fragrance, Tempting. But of course they didn't just talk about the new launch, they also touched on Vergara's experience with scents, her favorites, non-favorites, and the surprising scent she first wore.

Regarding the first scent she ever bought, Vergara doesn't know because she's basically been wearing fragrances since infancy. "In Colombia, we use cologne even when you're a baby, so I don't really remember the first one." As a Latina I can totally and 100 percent relate to that. Latinos are notorious for spritzing cologne on their babies, doesn't matter if it was a boy or girl.

If you're Latino chances are your mom bathed you in either Royal Violets Cologne, a Cuban baby fragrance with the soft scents of violets or Mi Tesoro. I know you know what I'm talking about.

As for her favorite scents, Vergara loves anything that reminds her of food. "I love truffles, but I don't think you could put that in perfume –that would be horrible. But it's my favorite food smell. The first scents I remember are of food. In Colombia, there are always big families and always food in the kitchen. It reminds me of home." Her least favorite scent? Skunks.

"I live in a house up the hill in Beverly Hills, and we have a lot of skunks. I don't know, for some reason, even when they're on the patio, you can smell it inside the bedroom and that smell lasts for a long time. I hate that!"

You gotta love Sofia for always keeping things humorous and 100 percent honest!
