Plenty of SPF

J.Lo may like posing in swimsuits, but she doesn't stay out in the sun for long. When she is tanning, she makes sure to be protected. "[I] am a firm believer in SPF," she told InStyle.
Staying hydrated

While on The Doctor Oz Show last year, J.Lo revealed that she drinks plenty of water. The recommended amount is 1.9 liters a day, according to Mayo Clinic.
Give makeup a rest

When the Boricua star isn't working, she doesn't pile on the makeup. "I have to wear a lot of makeup for work, so when I am not working, I tend to wear little to no makeup," she told InStyle.
Get beauty sleep

Lopez may be busy filming Shades of Blue and doing her Las Vegas residency, but she still makes time to get between 8 to 10 hours of sleep a night. "The number one tip is to always get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough," she also told the fashion magazine.
No drinking alcohol

J.Lo isn't having mojitos at happy hour! The Latina star doesn't consume alcohol since it speeds up the aging process.
No caffeine

No cafecito for J.Lo either! "I don't drink or smoke or have caffeine. That really wrecks your skin as you get older," she told Us Weekly. There you have it!
Healthy diet

J.Lo doesn't go for the rice and beans she was raised with. She eats lots of greens and dishes that are high in protein.
Meditation

J.Lo tries to live a Zen life. She told InStyle, "I am a firm believer in meditating and when you are happy and feel joy and love, you radiate beauty."
