J.Lo created the retro t-shirt, with the saying, "Lucky to have these curves," for Represent.com. The site specializes in "self customized branded merchandise." In true Lopez fashion, she has already sold over 1,200 t-shirts and they're only available for a limited time. Sizes range from extra small to extra large and the tank costs $25.
Once I saw her Instagram post, I quickly placed my order and soon learned that the shirt is backordered. It won't be arriving until the end of June. Ahh, maybe I should've ordered a "cat-o-holic" hoodie to hold me over.
Lopez's new venture is awesome in so many ways. She's encouraging her "squad" to shop small all while inspiring us to flaunt our curves with confidence. This is giving me flashbacks of her "Sweetface" days. The line folded in 2009, but maybe this is a fresh start to a revival. I mean, she's juggling so many projects already. What's one more endeavor, right?
I'll keep holding out hope while flaunting my proud wanna-be-J.Lo curves on the block with my custom t-shirt come June.
