10 Spring nail polish shades you’ll love

Just in time for the season where we show our nails the most, Target launches its own line of polishes called defy & INSPIRE. Besides the base and top coats, the line has 38 colors with super fun, pop culture-related names, like one of this year’s Pantene colors, this pink shade, named Bachelorette, honoring the reality show. The line offers professional results and you can get them at Target for $7.49 each.

Morgan Taylor Kung Fu Panda 3 Collection ($9 each) has us dreaming of #Spring! The six colors are fun, vibrant and are totally helping us cope with the winter blues.

Beauty expert brand L'Oréal created the Pro-Last Nail Color–which Jennifer Lopez wore at the Golden Globes– designed to last up to 14 days without chipping or cracking. The collection has 18 tones and each one comes in a double-sided bottle with color on one side and top coat on the other. My ultimate favorite for this season is the Constant Coral ($10.) 

O.P.I. holds a special place in my heart, and among those who love new tones and great quality, lasting polishes. Even though the collection is not yet being sold on their website, the company has already announced its newest collection, inspired in the jazz capital, New Orleans. I have fallen for this tone of green, Sooo Wamped.

Alluding to the spring, and the romance that traditionally comes with it, Revlon has dedicated this season's nail polish collection to love. There is nothing better than this deep cherry color, called Passionate ($4), to associate with passion and the matters of the heart.

Another of my favorite brands, Deborah Lippmann, introduces its collection of four new soft and feminine shades for this season. I love glitter, and glittery polishes tend to last a lot longer. For those who love to see their nails sparkle, you can go for Dirty Little Secrets ($20).

I love cruelty-free, all-natural ingredients brands that are good for our bodies. This is exactly what Zoya is all about, a brand that, besides being all natural, offers great quality products. Their transition collection has the other Pantone colors for this year in a lovely shade of blue with Lake ($10).

Inspired by the City of Angels, Lauren B. Beauty focusses solely on developing nail products, including 35 tones of nail polishes, besides the nude collection, the base and top coats. Pacific Palisades ($18) is perfect for those who enjoy colorful manicures.

Sally Hansen is another one of the drug store brands that has specialized in developing great quality products. Their gel nail polishes promise to last up to two weeks, don’t require UV/ LED light and are easy to remove. Sun lovers will adore the yellow-toned Gigabyte ($10).

The French manicure will never be out of style and full white nails will also have a place this season, therefore it makes sense to have the French White Créme ($1) among your collection.
