Jennifer Lopez is always dressed to perfection, but at last night's Tony Awards Red Carpet, she blew us away. Although J.Lo always looks flawless, lately, we've been noticing that we can pretty much guess what her stunning dress is going to look like for any special event: More than likely it's going to be sheer or have some sort of sheer design, lace or sequins; it will highlight her best assets (which are pretty much her entire body, but you know what I mean!); it'll probably be a nude color. And in most of the cases it's going to be designed by her fave, Zuhair Murad. It's a look that works for her, a designer that seems to get her, and one that she knows is going to make her look spectacular. But wait one minute! See? I told you! AMAZING! The blue color is absolutely stunning–and not something I expected from Jennifer Lopez. It's also not clingy or tight or trying to show anything off except her amazing style (and her toned arms!). And yet she manages to look perfect, glowing and as J.Lo-esque as ever. The ball gown is by Valentino and it was so good to see our Jennifer in something so markedly different for her. Bravo!
It just goes to show that timeless style, even if we're talking about our everyday clothes, is just as flattering and stylish than any super trendy outfit. It's always good to mix it up! Jennifer is the perfect example.
