Nude Jennifer Lopez dress + other hits & misses from the Met Gala 2015

Weird, crazy and sheer fashion looks came out to play during last night's Met Gala 2015. With the theme being "China: Through the Looking Glass" many celebrities were inspired by Asian culture while others totally picked their own theme. Jennifer Lopez was by far one of the best dressed of the evening with a red nude dress that left me speechless. You have to see her look (and from the back) along with other style hits and misses from the extravagant evening in fashion.

J.Lo took the Asian theme to heart and rocked the sexiest dragon-inspired ombré gown I've ever seen. The Boricua star modeled the nude sheer look better than the rest. Designer Donatella Versace should be really proud of this masterpiece. Wait until you see the back!

The back of the dress is as stunning as the front! The mermaid silhouette fits her curves perfectly. Lopez completed the look with dark blush eye-shadow and a red Swarovski clutch. Red is a lucky color in Asian culture! J.Lo nailed it.

The 22-year-old star stunned on the red carpet in a delicate white and black dress designed by Vera Wang. My favorite part was the beautiful white flowers she added to her hairstyle. She looks amazing!

The Barbadian singer inspired the most memes with her golden yellow robe. The dress designed by Guo Pei was extreme, but I admire Riri for being playful with fashion. I'm sure she doesn't mind the Big Bird and Sponge Bob comparisons one bit!

J.Lo wasn't the only one going for a sheer nude look! Beyonce was barely covered up in a Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci. Only a true diva like Bey can pull this look off and still look classy.

Kim Kardashian

Mrs. West also went for the nude sheer look–shocker! Kardashian wore a long sleeve Roberto Cavalli gown with intricate bead work. She looked flawless, but I feel like she has shown so much of herself that it just doesn't wow me.

The 34-year-old actress decided to go with a more casual dress designed by Kenzo. I love the pattern, but it looks like she's going out to dinner with a friend instead of attending the Met Gala.

The soul singer rocked a monochrome mini dress that looked like something out of a Star Wars movie. The Giles dress was pretty unique, but it looks like it should be returned to Darth Vader.

Sofia Vergara

The Colombian star wore a petal pink Marchesa gown, but didn't look too different compared to her usual red carpet style. I think she should have played around with her look a little more. Don't you?

Amal Clooney

The beautiful newlywed wore a red tier gown designed by John Galliano. The color looks amazing on her, but the construction of the dress looks more like cake icing.

Alicia Keys

The mother of two's Jean Paul Gaultier outfit was unbalanced and heavy. I love the sheer tiered skirt, but the satin blazer didn't go with the rest of the look.

Sarah Jessica Parker

The Sex In The City star took the theme seriously and wore a flaming headpiece by Philip Treacy. The memes kept coming, but I respect Parker for sticking to the tradition of wearing costume pieces on the red carpet. I'm team SJP all the way.
