All eyes were on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at last night's BET Honors, and surprisingly it wasn't because Kim suffered a nip slip or her butt crack was showing. The couple rocked the red carpet in matching black couture outfits designed by Balmain. Now, that's a way to shut down divorce rumors! I'm all for wearing a classic black gown to an event, but making sure to color coordinate with my spouse just seems like way extra work, not to mention extra superficial. Wait, I am talking about the woman who wrote a book about selfies titled Selfish. Why should I have higher standards, right?

The long-sleeve black dress with a minor cut-out on the side is actually pretty conservative for Kim's standards. The dress looks amazing on her and Kanye looks quite dapper in his suit, but the combo of Kimye's look seems to be channeling a Tim Burton film or an episode of the Addams Family. Please just be normal for once! I'm sure baby North will be asking the same from them in a couple of years.
It may look ridiculous, but these two know exactly what they're doing. They previously posed together in a campaign for Balmain, which means they probably got paid for rocking their looks. They love matching outfits and in doing so they stand out even more as a power couple. Kim also showed her nalgas for a PRADA ad, but thankfully they didn't decide to go matchy on that front. That would have been a pain in everyone's behind.
To me, it makes Kim look more and more lost in this relationship. Does she have her own identity anymore? I mean, when you let your husband redo your wardrobe then the likely answer is "no." It seems like Kim K sold her soul to fame and money a long time ago. Is there really a human staring back at me? I just can't tell anymore.
