Like most Latinas I know, I was blessed with some junk in the trunk, a.k.a. a bubble butt. I guess I have my Dominican mom to thank for that–thanks, mami! Don't get me wrong, my little booty is nothing compared to Kim Kardashian's or even Jennifer Lopez's, but it's round and it's perky and a pain in the behind (pun not intended) when it comes to shopping for jeans. I'll be honest, I just started reintroducing jeans into my wardrobe because for a long time I had just given up. Shopping for my pear shape has always been challenging. Dresses are always too lose on top and too tight on the bottom–and don't even get me started on jeans. Like I mentioned earlier, I had given up wearing jeans for almost an entire year. Until a friend introduced me to these super stretchy mid-rise jeans at H&M.
