Melt your lipstick
Who hasn't open up a tube lipstick only to find it broken or melted? But all you need is a match or a lighter to save it. Just melt the top layer of lipstick and add the broken piece on top until they melt and blend together. Now let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to harden and cool.
Use hairspray
Got a deep lipstick stain? Just spray the fabric with hairspray and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Dab the stain and then wash it in the machine. Voilà–stain no more!
Make crayon lipstick
Crayon lipsticks are the hottest thing right now, mainly for their practicality. They double as both color and a liner. All you need is some real crayons (in shades you'd actually wear on your lips of course), coconut oil and you're all set!
Define lips
Want more defined looking lips. Start off by drawing an "X" on your upper lip right at the edges. It's the easiest trick in the book.
Put your lipsticks in the fridge
My lipsticks tend to melt during the summer. To keep them fresh, store them in the fridge for a few minutes.
Create a lipstick palette
Cut your lipstick tubes off with a knife and store them in an old eyeshadow case. You have to make sure you melt them first though.
Make your lips look fuller
For fuller looking lips, dab some concealer or highlighter in the center of your mouth, then blend.
Make lipstick last
Need your lipstick to last all night? Just line, fill in with color, blot down with a tissue, powder lips (to keep color in place), and swipe on another layer.
Make long-wearing
Ever wonder how runway models get their lipstick to stay on for hours at a time during Fashion Week? Apparently one of the oldest tricks in the trade is to swipe on lipstick, then a hold a tissue over lips before dusting on translucent powder over it. It helps to lock in the color.
Make dots
Another very cool way to define and line lips!
