Every New Year's Eve, I go partying and every year I wind up looking like a hot hangover mess the following morning. I'm talking dehydrated skin, faded lipstick, mascara smudging underneath my eyes–it's not cute! But this time I'm not about it. Just because I'm having a fantastic night (filled with toasts and dancing) doesn't mean I have to look like I was run over by a bus. Am I right?

I don't know about you, but I plan on starting off 2015 looking my best. That means no bad skin, no messy makeup from last night's partying, nothing! But I don't plan on passing a good time either. Luckily, there are ways to keep your look flawless all throughout the night until the morning after. Here are some of my tips and tricks for holiday hangover beauty fixes!

Wash your face
I don’t care how fun that party was or how tired you’re feeling, make sure you wash that makeup off before bed, girl! Sleeping in your makeup can lead to breakouts and dark, puffy eyes the morning after. Feeling lazy? Keep a pack of facial wipes nearby. I love Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($7).
Moisturize
Don't skip out on moisturizer either. Apply something before bed that's going to sooth and smooth overnight. Try Yes to Cucumbers Calming Night Cream ($15).
De-puff
I recommend applying eye cream before bed, but if your eyes still look puffy by morning, try Skyn Iceland Hydro Cool Firming Gel Pads ($30). These things work wonders!
Rehydrate
We all know alcohol is dehydrating. So to keep your skin from looking dull and tired, make sure to have a few tall glasses of water the morning after. It makes all the difference.
Use tinted moisturizer
You want your face to look as natural (but radiant) as possible. Try a light formula that’s going to add glow to your face, like Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer ($43).
Pop an aspirin
Avoid the pounding headache by taking an aspirin as soon as you get up. This also helps remove any redness or puffiness you might have on your face.
Blush on
Add some cream blush to the apples of your cheeks, for a fresh, flushed and wide-awake look. I’m really loving Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelee ($22).
Wear mascara
For a fresh wide-awake look, try flaring out lashes with an eyelash curler, followed by two coats of mascara. Look for something that’s most volumizing and lengthening. My go-to is Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara ($23). The name says it all!
Groom those brows
Nothing pulls together a look quite like a pair of bold, groomed brows. Keep those arches looking their best by gently filling them in with a natural-looking tinted brow gel. I love Benefit Cosmetics Speed Brow ($18). It works wonders!
Fix hair in seconds
Hangover hair usually means, flat oily hair. Pump up the volume and absorb oil with Drybar Detox Dry Shampoo ($20). You’ll look like you just had a fresh blowout.
