Out of gel liner? Don't sweat it, just take your pencil liner and hold a match or lighter near the tip until it melts and now you have a gel formula. How cool is that?

Start off by drawing your actual wing first then fill in the space and work your way upwards.

To prevent your red lipstick from bleeding, begin by lining your lips using a waxed liner and starting at the cupids bow and then the middle of your bottom lip. Then line your lips at the corners moving towards the middle. Fill it in with lipstick and use a concealer around your lips to hide any smudges that might be around the edges. All set!

For bigger lashes

A makeup artist once told me for bigger, fuller looking lashes to apply mascara using a wiggling motion. Not only does it extend your lashes but it also helps to separate them and smooth out any clumps.

For dark spots

Don't–I repeat–don't use the same concealer you use to cover your under-eye circles for your dark spots. For manchas, look specifically for a color-correcting spot stick that's in the same color as your foundation. You also want to blot it a few times using the BeautyBlender or a makeup sponge to keep in intact.

Heat up your eyelash curler

For dramatic lashes, try slightly heating up your eyelash curling using a blow dryer. Just make sure it's not too hot.

Got mascara clumps on your lashes? Gently get them out using an eyelash comb, like BareMinerals Eyelash Comb ($10).

Who says you have to be born with big, bold brows? All you need to do to fake this look is to trace brows lightly using a brown pencil then fill them in where necessary and applying concealer around the brow to help it looked more defined.

I also used to just dot my concealer, but apparently the best way is to apply it using an upside-down triangular form. It not only works better but actually makes your face look brighter.
