Exfoliate

If you don't want to be a foundation slave, keep your skin smooth and hydrate so you can go without it. How to do it? Exfoliate at least once a week to remove dead skin cells and clear blackheads.
Folic acid

I discovered this trick with pregnancy. The reason you have that "pregnancy glow" is because you are taking folic acid. It cleans and clears the skin of free radicals and leaves it glowing. Its also known to fight acne, so take supplements or invest in a folic acid based serum.
A touch of pink

Winter and dry weather take a toll on your skin leaving it pale and opaque. To add that rosie color to your face, you should apply pink blush before and after applying foundation. You'll see how perky your face will look in seconds!
A touch of green

If you are on the opposite side of the spectrum and your face turns red all the time, then green is your color. Green neutralizes red and you'll end up with your meant-to-be skin tone. More green-based beauty products are available, now, like this L'Oréal primer, which neutralizes redness. Invest in some!
Dull hair

Women go through hormonal changes that show in our hair. We don't have bad-hair days, sometimes we have bad-hair months. Homemade masks with eggs, olive oil and coconut oil are ideal to wake up dull hair. Apply at least once a week!
Fuller brows

With age our hair falls out and that includes our brows. If your are noticing that yours are disappearing, you should buy some vitamin E oil and apply it on your brows every night before bed. You should also buy a brow pencil a shade darker than your hair and fill them in.
Baby skin

You probably have your favorite body creams and lotions, but I discovered that for a perfectly moist and smooth skin, the best thing is coconut oil. It's inexpensive and smells great. I apply it on my wet skin after my shower my skin stays hydrated all day long.
Retinol

You keep reading about it and you don't know what all the fuss is about. You tried it and didn't see any results except dry flaky skin, so you stopped using it. Big mistake! That's exactly what's supposed to happen. Retinol changes the complexity of your skin first to erase wrinkles and fine lines.
Let there be light!

Adding some highlights to your hair instantly makes your skin look younger. Highlights add light to your face and therefore you can use less makeup. You don't have to do throughout the entire hair, but only in strategic places. Talk to your colorist and experiment!
Fuller lips

We all want it, and believe it or not is very easy to have it. You don't need to buy expensive lip-plumping products, when you can use natural ingredients like peppermint and cinnamon. Exfoliate your lips with cinnamon to get rid of dead skin and cells. Make peppermint tea, and apply it on your lips every night before bed.
