To create a chic, textured look like Jessica Alba's, pull hair into a high pony securing with an elastic. Then take a one inch section of hair and wrap it around the base, holding with bobby pins. Wrap sections of hair from the ponytail around a thin curling wand and gently run your fingers through to loosen and soften the look. How cute is this?

Camilla proves that a sleek ponytail doesn't necessarily have to fall flat. Brush hair through using a flat brush and then pull hair back mid-length. Try not to pull too tight. You want to make sure that the roots are slightly elevated, creating a look that's relaxed and effortless.

Jennifer Lopez

J.Lo loves herself a good ponytail. For a look similar to hers, pull hair back at eye level. Use a round brush to smooth the hairs in the front. Then apply a pea size amount of serum to keep it smooth and sleek. Wrap thick sections from the ponytail around a 1 1/2 inch curling iron to create soft, lose waves.

Eva's low, loose ponytail is timeless. I even love how it covers her ears. To add volume, try teasing sections of hair at the crown. Create curls at the pony for more added texture.

Beyonce's side-swept ponytail compliments her face's shape and features. It also adds a touch of old Hollywood glamour. You want to make sure there's volume at the crown and also at the pony. A flat look could come off harsh and unflattering.

Eva Longoria

I'm obsessed with Eva's laid-back textured look. It's red carpet-ready without trying too hard. Try wrapping a few sections of hair around a curling wand before bulling them back. Then tease the roots slightly using a teasing brush.

Selena's glam-bouffant pony could take any day look into night. The trick is to tease, tease, tease!

Kim Kardashian

I love Kim's retro-esque ponytail and it's surprisingly easy to recreate. Start off by blow drying hair straight using large brush. Then curl ends using a curling iron. Part hair in the middle, brushing the top of the hair back. Tease hair at the crown to lift and add volume. Now gather hair into a mid-length ponytail, securing with a clear elastic.

Joan Smalls

There's a reason why Joan has rocked this curly, low ponytail so many times. Ponytails with extreme texture always look chic. Part hair straight down the middle. Using a serum to smooth roots and boost shine. Then curl and tease ends. The bigger the pony the better!

How gorgeous is Zoe's undone ponytail? Start off by applying a styling mousse to towel-dried hair to create a natural, wavy texture. Once hair is dry, run fingers through waves and tease the roots. Then pull hair from each side of the head, overlap sections, then pin.
