Okay, so I have strange and somewhat embarrassing confession to make. Don't freak out, but I hardly wear jeans–like ever! Didn't I just tell you, not to freak out? It's funny, but I'm always really amused by the shocking expressions on people's faces whenever I mention this. You'd think I told them I don't wear underwear or something. But the truth of the matter is, I don't find jeans all that comfortable. In fact, I wear skirts and dresses 85 % of the time and when I'm not wearing that you'd probably catch me in leggings–but NOT jeans! Okay, so I take that back. I do wear jeans sometimes, but only the super duper comfortable kind that doesn't bother my vagina. Yes, you read that right!

Listen, there's a reason why gynos suggest you don't live in your skinny jeans day in and day out. That's because jeans aren't the best thing for your vagina. Ever wore jeans while having a yeast or urinary tract infection? It's not fun, right? Jeans aren't just tight but they tend to have a denim folding right by the crotch area which with time could cause some serious irritation and discomfort. I never even noticed how uncomfortable jeans were until one fall.
I was suffering from a bad UTI and made the conscious decision to not wear jeans for a few weeks. It sort of forced me to get more creative with my wardrobe and fall outfits. Before I knew it, two months had gone by and I had only been wearing dresses, skirts and leggings for the entire season without even realizing it. Then one day I found myself missing my favorite pair of high-waisted jeans. I put them on and boy did I regret it. That's when it finally dawned on me–jeans aren't that comfortable! I decided to make it my mission to only buy jeans that weren't irritating in the crotch area or what I'd like to call "gyno-approved denims." It's been about a year since I made that change and let me tell you–I haven't looked back! Here are 10 stylish & comfy jeans that are actually good for your vagina!
