Ready or not, Halloween is only a few days away and who doesn't like dressing up? I sure as hell do! What I don't like is how people use this holiday as an excuse to either look slutty or be culturally and racially offensive. Remember that year Rihanna dressed up like a gangster girl/ Mexican Chola? Seriously, who told her that was okay? Listen, I have a sense of humor and I enjoy a good chiste just as much as the next chica, but that doesn't mean I have to tolerate those offensive "Latina" costumes I've been seeing in costume stores this year. If I see one more sexy illegal alien or tequila princess costume, I'm going to flip out on someone. This is NOT okay and it's certainly not funny. These racially sensitive Halloween costume depict a very stereotypical representation of the Latina woman that none of us should be embracing. We don't all walk around half naked holding three or four shot glasses. Sorry, but that's not how we roll.
