I definitely have a love-hate relationship with Jennifer Lopez's style. Sometimes it's impeccable and other times it's just … confusing to say the least. In fact, I'm still trying to understand what was going through her head when she picked out her outfit for last night's American Idol promos. The 45-year-old diva showed up decked out in all blue AND reptile too. This has to be the shortest, craziest thing she's ever worn!

Love it or loathe it, Jennifer's head-to-toe snakeskin ensemble definitely made a lasting impression last night. For starters, the dress was blue and snakeskin. As if that combination weren't enough, she wore shoes and a purse that exactly matched it. Who does that? Did I mention this thing was crazy short?
Yes, so short I don't know how she didn't end up showing her backside. I'm telling you, it looked more like a shirt than a mini shift dress. But I guess she loved her look because she even posted it to Instagram with a caption, "You gots ta coordinate … #idolfashion #allblueeverythang #dsquared #feelingblue."
I don't care how gorgeous J.Lo is or how amazing her hair and makeup looked, this outfit was terrifying! Not even the Bronx diva herself could pull off this look. And yes, she does have a seriously sexy pair of legs. But that doesn't mean she needs to wear a dress that literally hits at her crotch. This outfit was way too coordinated, the dress way too short and it just wasn't working–not even for her!
Crazy thing is, I don't even think Kim Kardashian would wear this ensemble and there's a girl who's had her fair share of bad outfit days. Tell me not! Sorry, but this is without a doubt a fashion fail for me. My only question is: Why J.Lo? Why?
