You guys, I am so excited about this year's outerwear trends. The textures, the muted colors, the menswear inspiration, the classic vibes — I just love it all. I wish I could have a jacket in each and every one of these styles, but there just aren't enough weeks in the season for that to be practical. There are however, plenty of budget-friendly options to make buying one or two feasible — not to mention, a whole lof of fun.

Camouflage Anorak
Anoraks were super-trendy this past spring, so you may already have one in your closet, but if you don't, or if you want one with a more fall feel, this camouflage inspired version from Target is a knock out. The print is actually tone-on-tone flowers that create a camo appearance, making it a great blend of feminine and masculine. Plus, it's priced well under $50 making it a great bargain. Camouflage Anorak, $39.99
Floral Bomber
When I think bomber jackets, I think of tough guys, but the delicate floral print on this Topshop jacket is so soft and pretty. It's a slimmed down version of the baggy bombers that were popular back in the early 90s and I just love the update — it's especially cute for those of us on the petite side since the pattern is small enough not to overwhelm and the shorter silhouette is more proportionate to our bodies. Floral Print Bomber Jacket, approx. $81
Knit Moto Jacket
I've been obsessed with moto jackets for a few years now, and I don't see this trend going anywhere anytime soon. This super-affordable version from Forever 21 looks so cozy and versatile. It's lightweight, so it's perfect for sunny fall days and looks similar enough to a cardigan that you could keep it on to stay warm in a cool office. Knit Moto Jacket, $29.90
Mixed-Media Jacket
Denim and fleece just scream fall, and this mixed-media jacket is the perfect combination of the two. Its casual styling is just right for visits to the farm, haunted house, hayrides and corn mazes. I love the cozy hoodie as well. Mixed-Media Jacket, $57.50
Modified Trench
This navy trench coat takes a classic style and a classic color and turns them on their head wtih a flouncy handkerchief-inspired hem, slightly assymetrical buttons and a wide sash belt. It's a great option for cooler weather work days, and one that you'll get tons of use out of in the years to come. Just Called to Say Hyannis Coat, $89.99
