While it's always better to lose weight through healthy eating and exercise, there are plenty of things you can do to instantly shed a few pounds visually. 1. Buy clothes that fit and dress for your type. I know it's tempting to buy an outfit in a smaller size in the hopes that it'll motivate you to lose weight, but wearing ill-fitting clothes only makes you look frumpy and doesn't flatter your current weight.

2. Get the right bra. Proper undies makes clothes look and feel so much better and a properly-fitting bra elongates your torso, leading to a more comfortable and confident you.

3. Black looks good on everybody. It eliminates shadows around your curvy body giving you a slimming effect, but feel free to add pops of color to bring attention to your assets.
