I'm telling you, apple cider vinegar (the raw, organic unfiltered kind) will save your beauty routine and maybe even your life! I haven't tried a kitchen staple that works this well on my skin and hair since coconut oil. It does it all, from boosting shine to clearing acne and even dandruff. Can you believe it?  Here are 7 ways apple cider vinegar can make you more beautiful! Warning: You want to make sure you ALWAYS dilute ACV in water, no matter how you use it.

As a toner: I've always been afraid of using toners. Most of them leave my skin dried out and irritated, which is why I rather use ACV instead. All you have to do is dilute some in water and then apply it to your face using a cotton ball. It instantly leaves you with a nice, radiant glow. Don't worry about your face smelling like feet. The scent goes away once you rinse it out!

As a dry scalp treatment: When I was little, my mamá would always treat my dandruff or dry scalp with apple cider vinegar. Dilute about a 1/3 cup full in a cup of water and then add to a spray bottle. Spray it all over your scalp and throughout the rest of your hair before rinsing out with cool water. It instantly banishes white flakes and leaves hair super shiny too!

As a face mask: Struggling with breakouts? To help clear out my acne I like to make a facial mask using oatmeal, apple cider vinegar (or lemon) and honey. Make sure to boil the oats in water first. Once it's cooked, let it cool and then add a tablespoon of diluted ACV and 2 tablespoons of honey. Apply it all over your face and let it sit for 20-30 minutes.

As an acne spot treatment: You can also mix it with a little bit of baking soda until it forms a paste as an overnight, acne spot treatment.

As a no-poo: Regular clarifying cleansers tend to be filled with detergents that dry out your hair and leave it knotted. Washing your hair with diluted apple cider vinegar doesn't just remove product buildup but it also leaves hair silky soft and shiny. I usually follow up with a good-smelling conditioner to get rid of the funky scent.

As a tooth whitener: If you combine 1/2 cup of baking soda and a few drops of apple cider vinegar diluted in water, you can make your own whitening paste. It works with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide too.

As a hair mask: Whenever my hair is in need of a little TLC, I whip up a homemade mask using honey, apple cider vinegar and avocado. Just add 1 tablespoon of diluted apple cider vinegar to a small bowl. Mix in a mashed avocado and 2 tablespoons of honey. Apply from roots to ends and leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing.
