I've never been a big TV person. While most of my friends were rushing home after work to catch their favorite sitcoms, I'd be curled on a corner reading a book or watching documentaries on Netflixs. But with all the amazing television show options these days like Modern Family, Girls and Orange is The New Black, how can I resist? That's why I'm watching tonight's 66th Primetime Emmy Awards to watch some of my favorite actors and actresses get recognized and honored for their amazing work. But aside from seeing who gets to take home their golden statues, I also tuned in to check out this year's best and worst dressed of the night!

There were plenty of fashion wins at tonight's Primetime Emmy Awards like Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and the always sophisticated, Camila Alves. But like every red carpet event, there were also a handful of misses too (sorry Lena Dunham). There were also a lot of red gowns worn by stars like Claire Danes, Christina Hendricks and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Anyhow, before I give it all away here were the best and WORST dressed of the night!

Sofia Vergara
The Modern Family actress may not have been nominated for anything this year but she certainly looked fabulous in that sexy white gown by Roberto Cavalli. This woman knows how to work a mermaid dress!
Claire Danes
The Homeland actress looked better than ever in an open-back, red Givenchy gown. She was definitely one of the best dressed of the night!
Kerry Washington
I can't say I was loving Kerry Washington's look tonight. That orange Prada dress looked kind of off to me. Seriously, what was up with those sequined seams and that weird black detail along the slit? I loved her ombre hair though!
Lena Dunham
I love Lena Denham, but what in the world was that woman wearing? I don't even know how to describe that pink ombre tutu thing she was wearing. What a hot mess!
Camila Alves
The Brazilian model and fashion designer killed it in a white gown by Zuhair Murad. I loved everything about it from the all-over sheer detailing to the bateau neckline, even the skinny belt. She looked stunning!
Christina Hendricks
The Mad Men star flaunted her curves in a gorgeous, one-shoulder Marchesa gown. Her soft lose waves and vintage-looking jewerly perfectly completed her look.
Dasha Polanco
The Dominican actress from Orange is The New Black looked sexy and sophisticated in a strapless princess gown that featured a pretty beaded waist detail. Her glamour curls looked gorgeous too!
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Julia Louis-Dreyfus won an Emmy tonight for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy for a role in HBO's Veep. She also landed a kiss from Bryan Cranston which was most likely due to that red-HOT gown she wore.
Selenis Leyva
I wasn't feeling Orange is The New Black actress, Selenis Leyva's dress tonight. Those layered ruffles weren't doing it for her.
Sarah Paulson
I still don't understand what American Horror Story actress, Sarah Paulson was wearing at tonight's Emmy Awards. It was literally a black tulle dress covered in tiny red dots. Just looking at it made me itch!
