One of the things I hate most about summer is the abuse it puts my hair through. It never fails, after just a few picnic dates and a week-long Caribbean vacation spent mainly at the beach (or in the pool), my hair is now in brutal shape. I'm just happy there are a ton of products out there made specifically to restore, repair and revitalize dry, damaged hair. Check them out!

Get a trim
Like it or not, the only way to truly rid your hair of damage is to get a trim every two to three months. Also, try treating split ends with a nourishing oil, like Rodin by Recine Olio Lusso Luxury Hair Oil ($65).
Do a hair mask
Regardless of your texture, every woman should be treating her post-summer hair with a deep conditioning treatment. I love Carol's Daughter Repairing Hair Mask ($32). It deeply nourishes hair from roots to ends.
Restore your color
Chlorine and salt water can cause color-treated hair to fade and dull. Try Pureology's Essential Repair Masque ($41). It's made with a blend of Vanilla, Jasmine, Mandarin, Rose and Lavender to help moisturize, restore luster and strengthen strands.
Restore your scalp
You can't have healthy hair without a healthy scalp. Massage a treatment like, PHYTOL Phytocyane Revitalizing Serum ($65) before every wash to help stimulate growth for stronger, thicker hair.
Boost shine
For immediate shine and smoothness, apply a hair gloss treatment, like John Frieda Liquid Shine Clear Hair Glaze ($8). It doesn't just get rid of dullness but actually undos damage.
