Getting a piece of jewelry stuck on your finger is never fun! You end up thinking that you're going to lose a digit or that you're going to have to go to the hospital to have it cut off. Fortunately there is a solution that will allow you to keep your ring in one piece and to get it off without harm.
In this instance, a video surfaced showing a man using a piece of string and some pliers to help remove a ring stuck on someone finger. How he does it totally blew my mind! First what he does is use some pliers to lift and pass the string beneath and around the ring. Then he coils the string around the entire finger up until the base of it and then starts unwinding it and the ring slowly travels down the finger until it is completely off. How amazing is that?!
I never in a million years would have thought to use string to remove a stuck ring. The way this man does it too is so simple that he looks like a pro. It might be a little hard to get right the first time, but I'm sure with some practice it will work.
