Jennifer Lopez rocks her most infamous red carpet look AGAIN!

Jennifer Lopez might be at the peak of her career and living the glamorous life, but don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got, she's most definitely still "Jenny from the Block." In fact, the 44-year-old pop icon was having the time of her life last night while performing a free concert in her hometown of the Bronx. I still can't believe this was the first concert she's ever done in her old neighborhood. Oh and you'll never guess what she wore during her nostalgic performance? Her iconic Versace dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards!

Okay, so she didn't wear the actual dress. Seriously, how could you perform in that thing? But she did rock a costume that paid homage to the infamous frock and let me tell you, girl, she looked GREAT! It was perfectly fitting for the night.

The 90-minute event took place just blocks away from where she grew up, at Orchard Beach in Pelham Bay Park. The free concert was a kick off to a national music series, sponsored by State Farm Insurance. J.Lo looked like she was having a blast rocking out to a lot of the tracks from her upcoming album, A.K.A., out June 17, but also a ton of her classic hits too. Did I mention she performed "Ain't It Funny" with Ja Rule last night?

But back to the Versace dress inspired costume. Let's face it, that tropical deep plunged dress sort of made J.Lo's career. She's been considered a fashion icon ever since and it was even voted the fifth most iconic dress of all time in a U.K. survey so she definitely chose the right look for the night. I mean it's been 14 years since Jennifer wore that gown and everyone is STILL talking about it!

There's no doubt in my mind, that this was probably one of J.Lo's favorite performances of all time. The girl had fun and it's clear that performing in her hometown meant a lot to her. "I haven't been this excited about something in a long, long time," she told People before the show. "To give a free concert and give back to the community that gave me so much and so much of my identity is not lost on me." It's so great to see that no matter how big Jennifer gets, she'll still always be Jenny from the Block!
