6 Eco-Friendly brands that are great for you & your kids!

Girl do I have some exciting news for you! For all the eco-friendly moms out, Jessica Alba and Christopher Gavigan's brand, The Honest Company will now be available at Target staring June 15. How awesome is that? In case you hadn't heard, The Honest Company provides natural, safe but still effective products for babies and the rest of the family. I'm talking baby products (think natural non-toxic diapers, wipes and baby powder), cleaning products and even vitamins. It's pretty cool and what's even cooler is that it's going to be available at mass retailers!

"As a busy working mom, I know you can't always anticipate when you're going to need something. It's great to have a partner like Target that offers convenience and great values at any given moment," Jessica Alba said in a statement. "We're excited to launch The Honest Company products in Target stores and on Target.com to provide easy access to our safe, stylish and accessibly-priced products."

Honestly, it makes perfect sense that Target would choose to collaborate with The Honest Company. The retailer has definitely been taking a more environmentally-friendly approach these days, stacking their shelves with brands like California Baby, SheaMoisture, BabyGanics, eclos, alba Botanicals and more.

I don't know about you, but I can NOT wait to get my hands on some of these products. It's so cool to know that they'll be available at Target and you can bet I'll be telling all the mamis I know! But this isn't the only green-conscious brand out there you should be checking out. Here are some of my favorite organic brands right now!

The California Baby Therapeutic Relief Diaper Rash Cream ($12) is supposed to be one of the best ones out in the market. It literally only consists of sustainably grown ingredients like lavender and organic tea tree that are soothing and calming on baby's skin. No bright red rash here!
