Kim and Kanye's big Parisian wedding is this weekend, so on May 22 Kim hit up the city of lights with her BFFs for dinner at the Eiffel Tower and her bachelorette party. If you ask me, Kim and Kanye are trying just a little too hard these days to come off like royalty. Clearly, Kim thought this dress was something fit for a queen. I say it was too much and way too wintery for a bachelorette party in the middle of May. Really, what was she thinking?
And get this: The dress cost more than I plan on spending on my own wedding. The Balmain dress is reportedly worth around $20,000 and it was inspired by a Fabergé egg. I thought it sort of reminded me of an easter egg. The reason why this frock cost such a fortune is because it features encrusted pearls, beaded embellishments and a hand-made floral plate across the chest. That floral plate is what looks like needlepoint. UGH! I'm sorry, but I still don't think this dress was worth all that money. Heck, I wouldn't have paid $50 to wear this!
I guess these girl didn't go dancing because I don't see how Kim could move around in this thick, long-sleeved, high-neck mini dress without breaking a sweat. All I know is if she spent $20,000 just on her bachelorette dress, I'm cringing to find out how much the bridal dress is costing her!
