I've been sort of obsessed with lip crayons lately, mostly because they're SO much fun! Not too sure what I'm talking about? Lip crayons are basically today's lipstick. It's a lip color that looks like an oversized Crayola and it's insanely easy to use. So easy in fact, a 2-year-old could probably apply this thing on with no problem and that's part of the reason why everyone's using them.

The first one I ever tried was back in 2011, when Clinique's Chubby Sticks first launched. I remember thinking it was a genius product. But I honestly didn't think that in a matter of years every beauty brand out there would have their own version of it. What makes lip crayons so appealing? Well for starters, they require super simple application. You can line your lips with it and easily swipe on the color–all in just a matter of seconds! Plus, most of them are packed with ultra-moisturizing ingredients that leave lips smooth and soft all day long. Oh and did I mention the color stays put for hours? Seriously, what's not to like?
The cool thing is, since so many women are buying these things in the dozens, more and more brands are creating their own lip crayons so there's a ton of options in a variety of different colors and prices. I'm so obsessed I've tried almost every version out there. Here are some of my favorite lip crayons every chica should try!

Clinique
The Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm ($17) was one of the first lip crayons I ever tried. It leaves my lips so soft and hydrated it's almost hard to believe. Try it in the new Plumped Pink shade. It's perfect for spring!
Revlon
Who says you can't find a lip crayon for less? Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm ($6) is packed with shea, coconut and mangu butters that leave lips both moisturized and matte–and all for less than 10 bucks! The Mischevious shade looks especially nice against a medium or dark complexion.
Nars
If I want a softer, natural-looking color, I use Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Dolce Rita ($23). I love how easy and precise the application is and the pretty rose shade is just perfect!
Flower
Flower Lip Suede Velvet Lip Chubby in Berry ($8) is another one of my favorites. You can't beat the price either!
Tarte
I love Tarte Power pigment in Blissful ($24) because you can use as both a lip tint and a cheek stain. It doesn't get any better than that!
Bobbi Brown
Unlike most lip crayons, the Bobbi Brown Art Stick ($26) actually requires a sharpener. But don't worry! Not only does it come included in the package, but this chunky pencil glides on effortlessly and leaves lips with the prettiest and creamiest matte finish that stays on for hours. I hardly ever have to reapply!
Estee Lauder
If you're a lip gloss kind-of-girl you'll LOVE Estee Lauder Pure Color Lip Shine in Plum ($24). It adds color, hydrates and still leaves your lips shiny without the stickiness of course!
