I am sick and tired of seeing my fellow Latinas walking around in low-rise, super stretchy, pocketless jeans. Seriously, when did this terrible style become a trend? It's a fashion tragedy! Not only are they tacky, but most of the time they're not flattering and look sort of sleazy too. And yet I still occasionally see chicas walking down the streets in these with absolutely NO shame at all. Why? I wish I could say this was the only fashion mistake I see us Latinas committing but unfortunately it's not!

I'm a pretty creative fashionista, so I don't like to limit myself to rules and trends. But sometimes we need rules to prevent good looking women from looking all sorts of crazy. And as experimental as you might be, there are certain fashion "don'ts" no woman can get away with–not even celebs! Speaking of which, here are eight celebrity-inspired fashion mistakes every Latina needs to stop committing!

Not dressing for your age
There's nothing wrong with dressing sexy. But there's a fine line between sexy and sleazy. Doesn't matter how hot you look, if you're over the age of 40 you should NOT be walking around with a crop top this revealing. It's just not a good look–not even for J.Lo!
Super duper deep plunge
Ever since Jennifer Lopez showed up to the 2000 Grammys in that ultra sexy Versace dress, every Latina on the planet, including Love & Hip Hop reality star Tahiry Jose (pictured here), has tried to get away with showing her breasts and belly button all in one outfit. How do you expect anyone to take you serious in an outfit like this?
Too much everything
I have a rule when it comes to showing skin. If you're showing cleavage you shouldn't be showing legs and if you're showing too much legs you shouldn't be showing cleavage. Simple enough right? I guess not, cause Evelyn Lozada showed up to a fan's prom wearing a red dress that left absolutely nothing to the imagination. Ay Dios!
Exposed bra
Bras are meant to cover our nipples and give our boobs lift and shape, they are NOT meant to be exposed. If you're wearing an outfit that shows off your bra then you probably need to either change the bra or change the outfit! Poor Kim Kardashian!
Unflattering white pants
I'm not saying women with big butts can't wear white pants. In fact, they actually look better if you have some junk in the trunk. But if a pair of pants is making your butt look like Kim's booty pictured here, then it's probably not a good choice. She looks like she has diapers on!
Too tight everything
A super tight crop top that shows cleavage looks cute with some loose trousers or an A-line skirt, but looks too provactive paired with a tight skirt. Adrienne Bailon's leather pencil was too much!
Exposed undies
A see-through outfit that reveals your panties is never okay. Not even for Kim Kardashian!
G-strings exposed
If your backless dress is so low it shows off your G-string, then maybe you should consider another outfit. Christina Milian's look might have worked if it wasn't for this terrible fashion mistake.
