One of the cool things about being a curly haired girl is that our rizos come in a variety of different shapes, patterns and sizes. No curl is alike! In fact, most of us have more than one curl pattern going on. The downside to that is finding products that work with and not against your curls. Lucky for you, I did the leg work and found quite a few products that work for every curly hair type. Check them and out find the best stuff for you!

Lose waves

For sexy, tousled waves like Paulina Rubio, use a sea spray like Ouidad Wave Create ($23) to help enhance hair's body and wave pattern. The vitamin-rich seaweed and algae extract keeps hair super soft and hydrated without the stiffness or crunch that comes with most styling products!
Big, loose curls

For soft, loose curls like Salma Hayek's, opt for a leave-in conditioner that's going to define, moisturize and fight frizz. I love Moroccanoil Intense Curl Cream ($37).
Mixed curls and waves

Adrienne Bailon seems to have a head full of both lose curls and waves. To keep those locks defined, look for a curl enhancing product that's going to make your texture look more uniformed, like SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie ($11).
Thick medium curls

Medium curls like Camila Alves tend to get looser with length. Maintain the bounce with a light-weight styling gel that doesn't contain alcohol or sulfates. I love DevaCurl Light Defining Gel ($19).
Thin medium curls

Dania Ramirez's curls are thin but not super tight either. To prevent proof and frizz, keep curls conditioned with an ultra-hydrating leave-in. I highly recommend the Ouidad Moisture Lock Leave-In Conditioner ($23). It's the BEST!
Thin tight curls

Tight, fine curls like Judy Reyes' are more prone to shrinkage and can make hair appear a lot shorter. Use a product that's going to help loosen and lengthen your locks, like Marc Anthony Strictly Curls Stretch ($8).
Tight, coarse curls

If you have a tighter, coarser texture like Gina Torres, look for a curl-defining formula that's packed with moisture. You want something that's going to define curls, moisturize and tame frizz. Try Mixed Chicks Leave-In Conditioner ($17).
Coarse curls

Coarse curly hair like Esperanza Spalding's can easily lack definition with the wrong products. Look for something that's going to give you more definition, like Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Nourishing and Conditioning Styling Butter ($12).
