Mint
Switch your emerald green polishes for a fresh, spring-y mint shade instead. Best part? It flatters all skin tones! Try Dior Vernis Polish in Pampille ($24).
Tropical brights
This spring it's not just about pretty pastels, but bright tropical colors–and they look especially nice on us Latinas! I love the way the new O.P.I Nail Lacquer in Toucan Do It If You Try ($9) from the new Brazil collection looks against a tan complexion!
Soft yellows
It's hard to find a yellow polish that doesn't wash out a warm complexion. Stay away from super bright hues, and opt for a pale buttery shade instead. I love Anna Sui Nail Color in N-N803 ($15). It's so pretty!
Orchid
In case you haven't heard, orchid is the official Pantone color of the year. It's pretty, polished and sort of flirtatious too. Try Essie in Under Where? ($9).
Peach
You can never go wrong with a fun peachy shade. It looks great on everyone! I recommend NARS Opaque Nail Polish in Wind Dancer ($19).
Mustard
Instead of gold, try a rich mustard color. It works better for the warmer seasons but it's still glam enough to make you look FAB! I love YSL La Laque Couture Polish in Safran Sultan ($27).
Lavender
Purple tends to look harsh in warmer climates, but a soft lavender color, like Dolce & Gabbana The Nail Lacquer in Lilac ($25) works just perfect.
