Most little girls love to play dress up, but how many of them can actually design and create their own dresses? Well, one 4-year-old girl, nicknamed Mayhem, makes her own dresses with her super crafty mommy and they're ALL made out of paper. And trust me, these aren't just paper dresses, they're paper dresses fit for the runway. These two have recreated a Taylor Swift dress, a Kerry Perry dress and even that gorgeous red gown Lupita Nyong'o wore to the Golden Globes. You have to see them for yourself to believe it!

Mayhem's mom, Angie is a professional photographer and avid Instagrammer. The project began after she started noticing Mayhem's interest in fashion. She grew tired of finding all her clothes in her daughter's toy box, so one day she suggested they make a dress out of paper. Mayhem fell in love with the idea and they've been creating cute paper dresses ever since. The cool thing is the dresses have only evolved with time. They went from a rainbow dress made out of construction paper and duct tape to impressive red carpet replicas.
Most of the dresses are made of construction paper, but Angie claims they also use tissue paper, wrapping paper, gifts bags, silk scarves, tulle and even aluminum foil. "Basically if we can find it laying around the house and it's pliable, it's fair game. Clear packing tape and glue are our adhesives of choice," she told the Huffington Post.
So how much designing and creating does Mayhem actually do? "The ideas are pretty much a 50/50 split, but Mayhem constructs a lot more than most people would probably believe. That's one of the best things about this project, I see her learning new skills every single day," Angie added. Mayhem finds her inspiration from practically everything from award shows, to books they read, to even day trips. In fact, a visit to the aquarium was the inspiration behind a shark dress they made.
Funny thing is, Angie isn't the least bit into fashion and doesn't consider herself crafty either. One of her friends suggested she start sewing the designs with fabrics and she just laughed. "I'll take paper and tape any day over getting anywhere near a sewing machine," she said. She might want to reconsider that, I get the feeling Mayhem is going to want to start making real dresses very VERY soon!

When trying to create this Minnie Mouse inspired dress Mayhem told Angie, "My ears are sparkly so the dress should be too. Obviously, mom." Too cute!

Mayhem doesn't care what critics had to say about Jennifer Lawrence's fashion fail at the 2014 Golden Globes. She loves it anyway!
Project Runway-inspired
"She's never actually seen an episode of Project Runway, but I did show her a clip one time explaining that there is a show all about making dresses and I thought she might hyperventilate," Angie told the Huffington Post.
Taylor Swift-inspired
