I can't wait for this crazy polar vortex to end so I can finally start rocking some spring trends. And when I say spring trends, I'm not just referring to floral dresses and wedge sandals–I'm talking lipstick! That's right girl, it's all about lipstick this season and in every color you could imagine: hot pink, berry, and even orange. Yes, orange!

Bold berry lips

Who said dark lipstick is just for fall? This season it’s all about bold and bright berry shades to help perk up a minimal makeup look. I'm obsessed with Avon Ultra-Color Absolute Lipstick in Pure Orchid ($8).
Nude lips

Just like red lipstick, a nude pout will never go out of style. But there's still an art to getting it right. Try dabbing on a thin layer of concealer to moisturized lips to help even out your natural lip color. Then apply a nude lipstick that helps play up your undertones. If you have a medium or dark complexion look for a shade with warm tints, like Dior Rouge Nude Lip Blush Voluptuous Care in Charnelle ($34).
Tomato red

Bright tomato red is going to be huge this spring. For a shade that complements most skin tones, try Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Jenna ($25). It features an orangey tint that looks great against olive, tan, or dark complexions.
Hot pink

I was thrilled when I heard hot pink was still going strong this spring. Who doesn't look great in this color? Try Urban Decay Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Crush ($20).
Orange

I'm convinced orange is going to remain a spring lipstick color staple. To get Jessica Alba's look, try mixing Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipcolor ($8) in Electric Orange and Neon Red ($8).
