It's more about maintaining and making sure you are brushing your teeth regularly and after every meal.

Below are foods you are eating that may be causing your teeth to yellow. Remember you don't need to cut them out, but it would benefit you to brush often to prevent staining.

Berries: Berries are a great way to get your daily intake fiber, but the problem is their juices can cause the enamel on your teeth to get stained.

Tomato sauce: It may taste delicious on your pasta and meats, but the acidic qualities cause staining and erosion on your teeth.

Teas and coffee: Your favorite herbal teas and coffees can cause teeth staining and the only way to prevent that is by drinking through a straw.

Wine: I love a good glass of wine (red or white) after a long day at work, but again, it's one of the worst teeth stainers. The pigments in it called tannins and chromogens are what cause your teeth to look worse for wear.

Sodas, sports drink, other carbonated drinks: These all cause enamel erosion and staining on  your teeth. The acid found in soda and sports drinks is one of the worst offenders. Choose water over these beverages instead.
