Could someone please tell Adrienne Bailon to lay off the makeup a little bit? Every time I see her, she's decked out in heavy foundation, smoldering eye shadow, and faux lashes for days. Seriously, it's not cute! Don't get me wrong, I love Adrienne and I think she's naturally pretty. You have to see her bare-faced–she's gorgeous! Which is why I don't really understand why she always has to go overboard with the makeup. Maybe she doesn't even realize it? Maybe not, but I'm sure all her white collared shirts do!

The truth is Latinas love makeup. We learned from a young age that you have to coat your lashes with loads of mascara, trace your eyes with dark liner, and you must own a red lipstick. With that said, a lot of us took these beauty rules a little too seriously, and wear WAY too much, like all the time! Still in denial? Here are few signs to let you know if you really are wearing too much. And remember chica, when it comes to makeup, less is more!

Your eyebrows are WAY too tinted
What is with Latinas and overly tinted eyebrows? I'm all for full brows, but if yours actually look like you drew them on, then there's a problem.
Your face doesn't match your neck
I'm not going to lie, this has definitely happened to me once or twice. But sweetie, if your foundation doesn't blend into your neck, it's time to go shopping for the right shade.
If you're unrecognizable
If people tell you that you "look different" or tired on the days you don't wear makeup, believe me they're not paying you a compliment.
Too many faux lashes
Your falsies shouldn't be so long they almost hit your eyebrows. That might work for strippers and drag queens, but not for ladies.
Too much of everything
Your eyeshadow shouldn't be blending into your blush–like ever!
Your contour lines are visible
No one should be able to see your contouring. And yes, this is an extreme example but I've seen chicas walk out of their house with their contour lines on full display. Not a good look!
