Now that the holidays are here, I love to rock a fresh, flowy blowout to every festive event. I'm not one to leave the house without my hair done, but spending countless hours in the bathroom styling our manes could be a serious pain in the butt. Luckily there are ways to streamline your blow-out routine and cut it in half, whether you're styling in the morning or at night. Here are some of my tips to help you take your hair from wet to fabulous in minutes!
Don't wash your hair everyday: First of all, unless you have really oily hair you shouldn't be washing your hair EVERY single day. It winds up drying your strands and removes those natural oils your hair actually needs. Try washing every other day, every two to three days, or once a week depending on your texture. And use a volume-boosting dry shampoo in between washes to keep hair fresh. I'm obsessed with Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Instant Bodifier Dry Shampoo ($5).
Change your shampoo and conditioner: If you're looking to save yourself some styling time, try a shampoo and conditioner that's specifically designed to do just that. Plus, they're safe to use on colored or chemically straightened strands.

Get a good dryer: If you're taking too long blow-drying your hair every morning, it might be because of your blow dryer.
