Did anyone else peep the outfit Kim Kardashian wore to the Hollywood Reporter's 22nd Annual Women in Entertainment breakfast yesterday? Seriously, what was that? I've been loving the reality star's post-pregnancy style, but this head-to-toe yellow ensemble was a total overkill. The girl literally wore a mustard-colored satin dress paired with a matching satin mustard coat accessorized with gold heels and a gold clutch. Ugh! She looked like an Oscar!

As much as I love the way Kim's been dressing lately, I thought it was about time she gave white outfits a rest. But if I knew she was going to show up dressed like a mustard bottle I would have kept my big mouth shut. I don't know if this was another one of her desperate attempts to stand out, but if her goal was to turn heads and make headlines, then she definitely got what she wanted with this look!
What frustrates me the most about this outfit is each individual piece is actually fashionable. I love the shoes, clutch, dress, even coat–but worn separately! We're not living in the 80s. Who actually matches every single part of their outfit?
And after shedding all that pregnancy weight, she should have worn something that showed off her amazing figure. Did you see her fabulous bikini bod on the cover of Us Weekly? But you would never know how fit she's gotten by the looks of this mustard-colored combo, which by NO means flattered her figure. Let's just hope she doesn't show up in an all green or all red ensemble to her next holiday party. After all the criticism she's already had, last thing she needs is to show up to an exclusive event dressed up like a Christmas tree!
