I hate walking around with dirty hair. It makes me feel unkept and, well, dirty But sometimes there just isn't enough time in the morning to wash your strands. Luckily, when it comes to holding a hairstyle, dirty pelo can do wonders. Believe me, unwashed hair is able to hold a style much better and WAY longer than squeaky clean locks. It definitely works for me everytime. So don't worry about waking up on time to wash your hair (knowing you have that after-work holiday cocktail event). A little grease can go a long way!

Lose waves
Dirty hair can hold a curl way longer than clean hair. Apply a dry shampoo to roots to help absorb oil and boost volume. Then wrap one inch sections around a curling wand, like Sultra The Bombshell ($130).
Loose casual braid
A loose, messy braid is a perfect way to hide unwashed hair. It also holds better too. Spray a texturizing product, like Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray ($39) to help create thickness and texture.
Sleek bun
Pulled back strands help hide grease. For a smooth, sleek look like Jessica Alba's, apply a leave-in conditioner or styling cream to roots. Brush back with a boar bristle brush before tying into a bun. I like Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream ($37).
Milk braids
How cute is this look? All you need is a little hair spray to keep this updo' in place. Try L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray Unscented ($15).
Fishtail braid
To keep limp, greasy strands away from your face, pull hair up into a high-ponytail before braiding into a fishtail braid. I'd spray a volumizing texture spray beforehand to give the braid more depth. I like Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray ($15).
