Lately I've been experiencing more bad hairstyles than I'd like to admit. I don't know about you, but I definitely don't have the time to deal with the frizz and craziness that happens to my hair in the morning. Seriously, who does? I can hardly make time for breakfast, forget styling my out-of-control naturally curly strands. In fact, many times I just wind up going to work with a hot mess of a head of hair. Worse part is I'm stuck with this disaster ALL day!

So you're having a bad hair day at work. No reason to hate your pelo. Here are a few quick & easy ways to fix it before you lose your mind!
Flat & oily: Your naturally thin, fine strands looked fine before you left the house this morning but now it's flat and oily. I suggest keeping a travel-size dry shampoo at your desk no matter what your hair type is. Everyone needs a boost every here and there. Look for a texturizing one, like the Kerastase Styling Powder Bluff ($36). Flip hair over and spray mainly at the roots.
Hair crease: I get my hair professionally blown out so whenever I get a kink or crease from a hair tie or even from just tucking my hair into my coat collar, I FREAK out! Keep a mini flat iron in your desk or purse for a quick touch up. Try the Conair MiniPro Ceramic Steam Straightener Model ($25). It comes complete with a heat-resistant storage pouch too!
Do a high bun: Whenever my hair refuses to cooperate I pull it up into a simple high bun and secure the ends with bobby pins. It's as simple as that. For a more elegant looking do' keep a Bun Shaper ($5) on you.
Static attack: Ugh, hair static drives me nuts! Try rubbing a pea-sized amount of hair serum and apply it to the mid-section and ends of your hair. This will also help punch up the shine. I like Garnier Fructis Style Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum ($7).
Frizzy curls: Curly hair tends to frizz up once it's dry. I like freshen up my rizos with a little water or a restyling spray, like Ouidad Botanical Boost Moisture Infusing & Refreshing Spray ($17).
