There are just some people who photogenic no matter what angle a picture is taken from and then there's everyone else. If you fall in the latter category then you might want to try squinching the next time you are photographed. Peter Hurley, a New York City based photographer has come up with a technique that will make even the most unphotogenic person look like a super star.
I don't know about you, but these tips are certainly going to come in handy while taking countless pictures this holiday season! Find out how here…

So how does squinching work? Hurley says the key is to lower your upper lid a tad–not too much otherwise it's squinting–and tighten or pinch your lower eyelid to get the squinching effect. He explains how most people choose to open their eyes wide when they pose for pictures, but this depicts fear and insecurity.
However squinching does the opposite and makes you appear more confident, attractive, and mysterious. In fact, Hurley explains that this is the secret celebrities and models use when they are photographed on the red carpet or during photo shoots. As a former model himself, he wanted to show the public the tricks he's learned and to make us ALL look better in pictures!
The examples he then uses to prove just how dramatically different people look when they squinch were impressive. This concept never had a name, but leave it to Hurley to give it a label that makes lots of sense. Make sure you squinch in pictures you take this holiday season, ladies. Trust me, you'll look hotter and sexier with this one little tweak!
