I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of obsessed with Camila Alves' eyebrows. Actually I take that back–I'm REALLY obsessed with her eyebrows! Honestly, who wouldn't be? She probably has the best brows in Hollywood. They're long, thick, well-shaped, and they perfectly frame her big, beautiful eyes. They're so awesome I've been on a mission to make mine look just like hers. But I have to warn you, brows like these don't just happen overnight!

So how does one get brows a la Camila Alves? Well for starters, be prepared to start growing those pesky pelitos out! Believe me, it definitely took me time to achieve that thicker, fuller look. But in the end it's totally worth it. FYI: Bigger brows actually make you look WAY younger! I guess that explains why Camila looks so great for her age. Here are five ways to get your brows just like Camila Alves'!
Start growing them out: The first step to bigger, bolder brows is to start growing them out. To speed up the process, try applying rosemary or castor oil all over and around your brows every night before bed. I love the B Nourishing Brow Oil ($30).
Get them shaped: When it comes to shaping brows, I don't recommend you do it yourself. Get a brow expert to shape them, and maintain them with a good pair of angled tweezers. Try Tweezerman's Classic Slant Tweezer ($24). Make sure you're only cleaning up the middle, and the thin hairs that grow towards your temples, along with any excess hairs in the arch.
Trim brows: To avoid brows from looking bushy, try trimming longer hairs. Brush them up first using a brow brush, like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush #12 ($18) or a tooth brush, then trim excess hairs.
Keep them smooth: My brow hairs have a tendency of curling up on me. I like to apply gel, like Laura Mercier Eye Brow Gel ($20), to keep them neat and in place.
Fill them in: If you can't get your brows to grow as thick as Camila's, try filling them in with an eyebrow pencil, like Make Up For Ever Eyebrow Pencil ($19). Make sure to go a shade lighter than your natural brow hairs. And to avoid them looking too dark or drawn in, brush them over afterwards.
