I HATE cellulite. So much so that whenever I lay my eyes on those pesky dimples it instantly puts me in a mood. How do you get rid of these suckers anyway? I can work out for months and they still don't disappear. Truth is, most women have it no matter how slim or fit they might be. I've tried it all from cellulite-busting workouts to beauty products and the only thing that's ever worked for me is my abuelita's cellulite busting coffee scrub. It's the closest thing to a cure!

Unfortunately, you can't just zap away cellulite for good. Sucky, I know! Exercising, maintaining a healthy diet, and even exfoliating certain areas of your body can help reduce its appearance, but it won't permanently get rid of it.
This homemade coffee scrub does a pretty good job at smoothing out my skin and making it appear a lot more even. The caffeine in the coffee helps reduce water in your skin cells, which causes the appearance of cellulite to diminish. Check out the recipe below and see if it works for you!
What you need:
1/2 cup of coffee grounds
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of olive oil
What to do:
1. Begin by mixing any coffee grounds of your choice (I use Café Bustelo of course) with the brown sugar and olive oil in a small bowl.
2. Apply the scrub to the areas on your body with cellulite, and massage it using a circular motion. I like to use exfoliating gloves, like Earth Therapeutics Exfoliating Hydro Gloves ($4).
3*.* Rinse the scrub off with warm water and then pat dry skin with a towel
4. Apply a body lotion to skin to help lock in moisture.
