I browsed through Pinterest and found a number of fun manicures inspired by this spooky holiday, like ghosts, scary monsters, and even Día del los Muertos Mexican skull faces–my favorite of course! Check them out and don't be afraid to give them a go!

Spider webs
Start by painting nails with a sparkling black polish, like Pure Ice in Electric ($6). Use a white nail art polish, or pen, like Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in Pearly White ($8) to create the spider web effect.
Pumpkin feast
This pumpkin mani doesn't just work for Halloween but all season long. Elevation Polish in Epidote ($8), a shimmery olive/moss polish was used as the base color. Acrylic paint along with a fine detail brush was used to create the pumpkins and swirly branches across all of the nails.
Zombies
This zombie manicure is more cute than scary. Begin with two coats of a grass green polish. I like OPI Bright Nail Polish in Green-wich Village ($7). Nail art pens are the easiest way to create the faces.
Ghosts
Want something easier? Try this super simple ghost manicure. All you need is a few coats of white polish and three black blobs for your ghost face and you're good to go!
Halloween monsters
How cute are these guys? You got everything here from Frankstein to a vampire, a black cat's eye, and even a one-eyed monster. The trick to nailing this look is using nail art pens and adding a top coat to keep the look lasting
The Shining
This badass design is inspired by the 1980s psychological horror flick The Shining. You're going to have to get really creative to create this 3D design.
Pointy teeth
This simple halloween manicure is actually kind of chic too. Maybelline's Color Show Nail Color in Twilight Rays ($3) was used as the base color, followed by Sally Hansen's Hard As Nail Extreme Wear Nail Color in Red Carpet ($3) for the pointy teeth design, and the So Easy Stripe Rite in White ($3) nail art polish.
Día de los Muertos
This 3D Día de los Muertos design is definitely the coolest in the bunch. But it's going to take a lot of beads and details to pull off this look!
