Believe it or not, most of the braided hairstyles trending this season work perfect for rizos. Think about it: Unlike straight strands, our tresses easily hold styles and also add romantic texture. Braids look so classic and elegant, but especially on curly locks. Fresh out of ideas? Don't stress! I gathered a few styles to bring you some braid inspiration!

French braid

A loose classic French braid looks fresh and modern on curly or wavy strands.
Side braid

I love this edgier version of the side braid. Pulling out a few strands in the front gives it a soft touch.
Braided ponytail

This ultra-femine braided ponytail style can work for any occasion: work, a casual day, or even for a fancy evening out–you name it! All you need are a few bobby pins to keep the look in place.
Fishtail

Add clip on hair extension to achieve a thick, long fishtail braid like Fergie's.
Crown braid

For a boho-chic updo like Jessica Alba's, create two braids and wrap them around your head inside a circle. Make sure to secure each with clear bands at the ends, and pin with bobby pins. Mist a flexible hairspray to hold the look.
Braided bun

Feeling too lazy? Pull hair into a messy bun instead, leaving a section of hair from the front out. Then braid it and wrap it around one side of your head, pinning the ends underneath the bun using bobby pins.
Messy fishtail braid

Leaving some curls out in the front like Adamari Lopez (pictured here) makes a fishtail braid look even cooler.
Wrap around braid

A simple braid wrapped around loose, tousled tresses can make all the difference. It's also SUPER easy to do!
Twisted updo

This elegant do looks like it's braided, but all it took was a few simple twisting.
