There are SO many great shows to look forward to this season, but I can't help but have a soft spot for my fellow Latino designers who have paved the way and have stunned us with their impeccable designs. Some of these designers have really made a name for themselves in the fashion world, like icon Oscar de la Renta, who's known for his sophisticated ready-to-wear celeb-favorite evening gowns, Carolina Herrera, and Narcisco Rodriguez–and that's just to name a few. Anyone else out there as excited as I am? Fashion Week wouldn't be the same without them!

This Cuban American designer, famous for his clean and minimalistic designs, got his big break after designing the wedding gown for John F. Kennedy Jr.'s wife, Carolyn Bessette back in 1996. But the real buzz started after Michelle Obama wore an edgy red-and-black sheath dress during President Obama's victory speech in 2008.
