‘Premios Tu Mundo’: How to get Eva Longoria’s sultry smoky eyes

The stars were out last night and they weren't all sparkling in the sky, some of them were sparkling amongst us for all to see. Just take a look at dazzling EvaLongoria. She was shining at Premios Tu Mundo in Miami, Florida where she was honored with an "ALMA de tu Mundo" award.

The best thing about Eva shining her light on us mere mortals is that we can get the look too.

Now, Eva is a L'Oréal Paris spokesperson, and her flawless look was created with L'Oréal Paris products because she's got the total hook-up, but don't be afraid to mix and match. Work with what you have or what you like. Be inspired by her look and make the look your own.

Here's how you can get Eva Longoria's look in five easy steps!

  • Prep your skin to create a flawless canvas to work with by using a primer. I started using primers this year and they really do work magic in creating a smooth surface for the rest of your makeup. You can try L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Oil-Free ($25) or Neutrogena Shine Control Primer ($12).
  • Use a highlighter to illuminate the area under your eyes. E.L.F. Studio makes an awesome Undereye Concealer & Highlighter that only costs $3!
  • Make skin look truly flawless with a foundation that matches your skin color as closely as possible.
  • Now for those smoldering smoky eyes! Use a black eyeliner to cover half the eyelid, then use grey or black eye shadow to seal it. Blend and eliminate any harsh lines with a dome shaped brush.
  • Eva is wearing false eyelashes sealed with mascara to make them look like her own. You could do the same or just work your own lashes with a mascara like L'Oréal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Excess Mascara ($9).

See it's not so hard to look like a star! We'd love to see a picture of you rocking this look. Email us a picture at [email protected] and you might see your beautiful face in a future post.
