10 under $10: Beauty products to keep you cool in the summer

As much as I love summer, I HATE how the hot and humid weather immediately interferes with my beauty routine. By midday my hair is frizzy, my skin is oily, and my makeup is already melting. With 100-plus degree weather, all I want to do is shower in cold water all day. But since that's not exactly the most practical (or cost-efficient) option out there, these days I'm looking into cooling beauty products.

Yes girl, they definitely do exist. I'm talking gel formulas, facial sprays, and even wipes that will help keep you feeling and looking cool even when it's hot as hell outside. And don't worry: There are a ton of affordable options out there–in fact I've found quite a few all for $10 and under. Check out a few of my faves that are guaranteed to keep you cool all summer long!

Whether you like it or not, there’s no avoiding wearing SPF during the summertime. Switch your usual sticky sunscreen for the Neutrogena Fresh Cooling Body Mist Sunblock SPF 45 ($10). It not only protects your skin from the sun, but it also leaves it incredibly refreshed.

It’s hard to find a moisturizing facial cream that won’t leave your skin oily or cause breakouts during the summer, which is why I love the Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream ($9). The fruit water extract helps deeply hydrate skin but leaves it fresh and cool for hours.

I’m sorry but NO one looks good with a super shiny face. Wipe off excess oil and soothe skin, with Sephora Collection Blotting Papers ($10). The package is small enough to keep in your purse at all times.

BB cream

Lose the liquid foundation and opt for something lighter, like CoverGirl CG Aqua Tinted Moisture Smoother ($7). It won’t clog pores and leaves skin radiant.
