How to pick the perfect shorts for your body (PHOTOS)

For years I refused to wear shorts. My first few summers during college consisted of only summer dresses and skirts, because I swore I was too classy to walk around the streets of N.Y.C. in short shorts. Until I finally realized that just because you're wearing shorts doesn't mean your cheeks have to be hanging out of them. I've met a lot of women who automatically do away with shorts because they feel like it just doesn't suit their figures, when there are so many shorts options out there these days that are perfect for a number of different body types. And let's face it–it's getting really hot outside. So ditch the skinny jeans and find the perfect shorts for your shape with a few of my tips below!
