If there's one thing I HAVE to own this summer, it's definitely a maxi dress. These easy breezy numbers aren't just comfortable–they keep you cool during those hot, humid days and they're insanely cute too. In fact, now that I think about it, one is definitely not going to cut it. I should probably stock up on five or six.
A lot of women out there don't seem to share my love for maxi dresses though. I'm telling you I hear complaints all the time from short, big-busted, plus-size, and even slim chicas. But honestly ladies, it's really about just finding a maxi dress that works with your body shape. Check out a few options below–all for under $100!

If you have big boobs
If you’ve been blessed with a big bust, look for a maxi dress that features a V-neck. This will help show off a tasteful amount of cleavage, while also keeping the girls fully supportive. Mango.com, $100
If you're all over curvy
Stay away from overwhelming prints and try a solid-colored chiffon style instead. Then add a belt to help cinch in your waist. Forever21.com, $20
If you're short
Avoid maxi dresses that hit all the way to the floor. I like the curved high-low hem on this one. Even with a pair of flats you’ll look instantly longer. Asos.com, $38
If you have an athletic shape
A style that features frills creates curves and will give the illusion of a more feminine silhouette. I absolutely love this floral one! Hm.com, $25
If you have big arms
Feeling a little self-conscious about your arms? Try an angel sleeve style dress like this that features a V-neck and cinches at the waist. Boohoo.com, $40
If you're slim
You can probably get away with most styles, but I’d suggest going out with a colorful, sleeveless one. How cute is this ombre look? Oldnavy.com, $30
