I love me some beauty products, but what I DON'T love is all the terrible chemicals and packaging that come along with some of my favorite products. I also have super sensitive skin, so I've been on the lookout over the last few years for products that are all natural AND good for the planet.

My research is about to be your gain, because I've rounded up my five favorite earth-friendly products that will help you look gorgeous without the guilty conscience!

Coconut Oil

I LOVE coconut oil & use it for everything from cooking to a hair treatment to a skin moisturizer! I buy big glass jars of Organic oil from Nutiva for $15 a pop and they last me for a few months, making it a great deal to boot. Plus you can rinse out & reuse the sturdy jars for homemade sauces or as cute mason jar style mugs after you use up all the coconut goodness. ($15, nutiva.com)

Jurlique Brightening Serum

Jurlique is one of my very favorite earth-friendly brands! All of their products are totally natural and they have managed to harness the power of nature for some SERIOUSLY effective products. I use a ton of their stuff, but my current favorite is their Purely Bright Radiance Serum, which works its charms using a combination of Vitamin C, Kakadu Plum, Citrus Unshiu Peel, and African Birch extract to even out skintone & texture in one short month. It's a God-send for us girls with darker skin who want to get rid of dark spots! ($58, jurlique.com)

Goldfaden MD Hands to Heart

Did you know your hands are the first place that can betray your age? Us Latinas tend to be blessed with skin that defies years, but most women in general tend to ignore the skin on our hands. Chnge all that with Goldfaden MD's Hands to Heart moisturizer. It's the first all natural beauty line designed by a dermatologist so you know the science behind the products is legit. This luxe, luscious hand cream absorbs quickly into skin and helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines & age spots! ($38, goldfadenmd.com)

Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover

ph4zc9fe8s1.jpg

I've been a loyal Neutrogena girl for years. I've always loved their makeup remover and have loyally used it since high school. It's probably the longest relationship I've ever had in my life. So I was a little resistant to switch it up and try their new Naturals line because I wasn't sure if it was going to be effective, but boy was I wrong! The Fresh Cleansing Makeup remover is FANTASTIC and really gets every speck of makeup off of your face without drying it out in the least bit. Try it for yourself and you'll be convert too. They have a whole line of wonderful, plant-derived products in their Naturals collection. ($6.39, drugstore.com)

Nature's Gate Tea Tree oil shampoo & conditioner

I do a TON of stuff to my hair, so I need a super gentle shampoo and conditioner that is also sulfate free. Oh, and did I mention that while my ends are dry, my scalp tends to be oily and flaky? Yup, finding a shampoo and conditioner that was just right for me was super tough! But the second I used Nature's Gate Tea Tree oil shampoo and conditioner, I knew I had somehow stumbled upon something really special. Tea Tree oil has antiseptic properties that keep your scalp healthy, but it's gentle enough to not strip your hair of any natural oils. Plus, this oprganic brand keeps all of their products sulfate and paraben free. Not to mention all of the packaging is made out of recycled materials! ($8.75, soap.com)

Baby Bee Buttermilk soap by Burt's Bees

Burt's Bees products are SO GOOD and when they launched a line for kids, I scooped them up. Little did I know I'd fall in love with their creamy Baby Bee Buttermilk soap for myself! Completely 100 percent natural and 100 percent moisturizing, this French-milled soap is safe for even the most sensitive skin. At $5 a pop for the long-lasting bars, it's a great deal too. ($5, burtsbees.com)
