When it comes to hair, Demi Lovato is never afraid to switch it up. In fact, the "Heart Attack" singer recently chopped of her long locks for a chic, shoulder-length cut with side-swept bangs and shared the new look with all her fans via Twitter. I can't even remember the last time Demi sported such short hair, but I have to say the cut looks absolutely AMAZING on her. I totally love it!

We've literally seen her do it all to her hair from dying it black, blonde, brown, and even experimenting with blue and pink ends (which she totally rocked by the way)! But what I love about her new style is how young and fresh it makes her look. With all the makeup and hair extensions she has going on most of the time, it's easy to forget that the former Disney star is only 20 years old. This cut definitely brings out her softer side and it gives off a much more laid-back, girl-next-door vibe. Don't you think?
It also had me wondering if there's been anything significant going on in Demi's life that suddenly made her go so short. Or maybe she was just looking for a change? I recently got somewhat of a drastic cut myself in efforts to try a new look and I have to admit it's been taking a little getting used to. Like many Latinas, I've always been a lot more comfortable sporting super long hair, but after seeing how Demi flaunted her short cut so confidently, it's kind of made me think twice about my new 'do and finally embracing it. Yup, celebrities would do that to you.
Anyhow whether you like it or not I'm totally digging Demi's short mane and now I'm even more convinced than before that this girl can literally do ANYTHING with her tresses and still look fab. Heck, she could probably even go bald and still look cute. Well … maybe not. But she'll definitely work it though!
