Spring might still seem like a long way off, but before you can blink it's March 20, the official first day of the season. And I don't know about you but I'm SO over winter. As much as I loved sporting plum polishes and oxblood lipsticks, I'm definitely in the mood for something a little more warm weather-friendly. So like always, I'm already thinking about what beauty trends I plan on sporting come spring. What I love about this year's trends is how great they work especially for us Latinas. Think tousled, textured hair and bright orangey lips (that look AMAZING against medium or dark skin). So think ahead and check out a few of these spring-ready beauty trends that are bound to snap you out of your winter funk!

Orangey-coral lips
I’m so glad this trend is back! Bright, orangey lips look vibrant against olive, medium and dark complexions. I love Clinique Chubby Lipstick Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Heftiest Hibiscus ($16). If you have lighter skin or cooler undertones look for a pinkish coral shade instead, like Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics in Classic Coral ($18).
Emerald green makeup
This universally flattering shade looks great on practically anyone. And since Pantone declared emerald green the color of 2013, you can find every beauty product you can imagine in this sexy hue. Jazz up your nails with a luxe green polish, like Essie Polish in Going Incognito ($8). Or try sultry jade smoky eyes with Kat Von D True Romance Eyeshadow Trio in Helmüt ($24).
White nail polish
I’m not a big fan of the neutral nail trend, but I do love the way a white polish pops against tan skin. To prevent this from looking too abuela-ish, avoid shimmery polishes and try a opaque one, like NARS Opaque Nail Polish in Écume ($19). This chip-resistant, long-lasting polish compliments all nail shapes. I’m talking square, round and even pointy!
Textured tresses
Textured strands (like the loose waves seen at the J.Mendel runway show) are here to stay. So put away that flat iron this spring and embrace your natural texture! For curly hair try the Ouidad Curl Recovery Whipped Curls ($26). It works on all curly hair types, especially on those that experience frizz, dryness or breakage. Bold brows
Luckily for me full, thick brows are never going to go out of style. And it’s stronger than ever this spring. Use castor oil to help grow out your brows then have a brow expert remove stray hairs and shape. I highly recommend threading. But if your brows don’t grow anymore, try filling them in with a brow powder or pencil that’s one shade darker than your color. I love Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil ($23). Use it to fill in gaps or extend a tail.
Low sleek buns
With warm weather on its way, you’re going to want to pull your hair back and get it out of your face. Instead of settling for a plain ol’ ponytail, try a sleek low, ballerina bun. Colorful streaks
